Elgor + Hansen implements HumanWork

The first stage of HumanWork's implementation in Elgor + Hansen company has completed.
As a part of the international holding, Hansen Sicherheitstechnik AG, which includes companies from Germany, the Czech Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Africa, Elgor + Hansen co-creates a technological platform for diversified products. The scope of company operation includes design, manufacturing and repairs of the explosion-proof enclosure of the mining equipment, development of technical documentation for electrical devices used in the mining industry, as well as development of documentation for integrated supply and control systems of the mining complexes (longwall, plough, mine face).
In January 2009 the company has implemented HumanWork application to support planning, document flow and reporting of the work progress. In the first stage the system was provided to around a 150 employees at the Production, Development, Quality Control and Controlling Departments.
The processes of planning and current production's quality control as well as the processes of planning the new device's prototypes were mapped in HumanWork. The processes were connected with Itineraries - the company's unique routes of producing individual devices which can be planned independently on Gantt charts. HumanWork is used both for current plan's accomplishment and it serves as a communications platform for the people involved in processes.
